Speech-Language Pathologist

Description:

Assessment and intervention services to address the functional communication needs of infants and toddlers, including language and speech development and oral motor functioning.

Requirements:

1. State licensure

2. ASHA certification (Certification of Clinical Competence)

3. Minimum of two years work experience in the field of SLP

Occupational Therapist

Description:

Assessment and intervention services with an emphasis on adaptive skills, motor and sensory development, mobility, play, and oral-motor functioning.

Requirements:

1. State licensure

2. NBCOT certification

3. Minimum of two years work experience in the field of OT

Physical Therapist

Description:

Assessment and intervention services with an emphasis on mobility, positioning, motor development, strength, and endurance.

Requirements:

1. State licensure

2. Minimum of two years work experience in the field of PT.  

Audiological Services

Description:

Services for the identification of an infant or toddler with an auditory impairment using at-risk criteria and appropriate audiologic screening techniques.

Requirements:

​

Audiologist

1. Doctorate or Master’s Degree

2. ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A)

3. Training or experience in working with infants or toddlers who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing  

​

Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

1. State teaching license with Special Education Specialist: Deaf and Hard of Hearing (ages 0-21) endorsement or equivalent licensure in another state

2. Additional training or experience in working with infants and toddlers who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing

3. Participation in related trainings provided by the Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind (CSDB) 

Psychological Services

Description:

Assessment and intervention services that address the development, cognition, behavior, and social or emotional development of an infant or toddler.

Requirements:

Clinical psychologist

1. Doctorate of Psychology or Doctorate of Philosophy

2. State license

3. Completion of the DC: 0-5 Clinical Training

4. Minimum of two years experience working with children

School psychologist

1. Master's degree

2. School psychologist certification

3. Completion of DC: 0-5 Clinical Training

4. Minimum of two years work experience 

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Requirements:

1. Master's degree

2. State license

3. Completion of DC: 0-5 Clinical Training

4. Minimum of two years experience working with families  

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Requirements:

1. Master's Degree or Doctorate with specialized instruction

2. Completion of DC: 0-5 Overview Training

3. Two years of experience working with children 

Early Childhood Educator (ECE)/Early Childhood Special Educator (ECSE) ENDORSEMENT (Colorado Only)

Requirements:

1. Colorado state license with birth-8 endorsement, or current and equivalent license from another state

2. Minimum of two years experience with and knowledge of child development

Early Childhood Special Educator (ECSE) EI CO WAIVER

Requirements:

1. Master’s degree in ECSE

2. Knowledge of child development

3. Documented experience in supporting infants and toddlers with developmental concerns and their families (with Specialized DI waiver)

Infant Mental Health Specialist (Colorado Only)

Requirements:

1. Master's degree in related discipline

2. Completion of IMH- E® for Infant Mental Health Specialist

3. Completion of DC: 0-5 Clinical Training

4. Minimum of two years work experience

Special Instructor (Pennsylvania Only)

Requirements:

1. Bachelors or Master's degree in related discipline

2. Minimum of two years work experience

3. Teaching or behavior certification recommended
